Philosophy
The Christian Academy exists because of its general
purpose, its educational philosophy and Bible-Based objectives.
The Christian Academy believes in the Sovereignty of God as revealed
in the works of His creation and through His redemptive plan of
salvation. The school provides a pre-kindergarten through sixth
grade program with the firm belief that God’s truth is at
the center of its curriculum. Using as its primary source the A
Beka Curriculum, The Academy embraces a theistic approach integrating
all subjects with biblical truth.
It is therefore the belief of the Academy that the needs of the
whole child be met. These include growth in each of the following
areas: academic, spiritual, moral, social, personal and physical.
The curricular experiences are intended to achieve a three-fold
purpose:
- Enable students to acquire the basic academic skills
- Stimulate and encourages students to achieve academic excellence
- Compel students to apply learned skills into daily living
Mission
Therefore the mission of the Academy is to produce
world-class academic scholars that have a Christ-Centered, Bible-Based
view of the world and mankind, which includes diversity of backgrounds
and acceptance of multi-cultures. The Academy impresses that true
reality is interwoven in God and His purpose for each of the lives
we are afforded privilege to touch.
